Inti Tea

The professional tea channel, as refined as the brand itself.

B2B

Catalog and wholesale prices always updated from the ERP.

ABOUT

Inti Tea is one of the leading tea and infusion brands in Argentina. Under its umbrella it brings together Inti Zen, in_t Hebras, and Inti Organic, from gourmet tea-bag blends to organic tea and selected loose leaf.

CHALLENGE

The professional channel (cafés, hotels, distributors, health-food stores) buys recurrently and needs a different experience from the end consumer. It ran without a store to match, in a market far behind on digital wholesale.

SOLUTION

A complete redesign of the professional channel's home with a B2B identity, Latech Bridge connecting the ERP to Shopify to sync product, SparkLayer as the wholesale store engine, and price lists in SparkLayer with per-customer terms.

A tea brand that was already a reference

Inti Tea needed no introduction in the Argentine tea market. It's the umbrella that brings together Inti Zen, in_t Hebras, and Inti Organic, three brands spanning everything from gourmet tea-bag blends to organic tea from northern Argentina and selected loose leaf. Inti Zen, the best known, was born in 2003 from Guillermo Casarotti with a clear idea: to fuse Latin American flavors with the tradition of Eastern tea, in designer blends that turned the brand into a reference and took it to several countries.

With that identity already built on the consumer side, the challenge sat elsewhere: the professional channel. Cafés, restaurants, hotels, offices, health-food stores, and distributors that buy tea recurrently and in volume, and that need a buying experience completely different from someone picking up a box for home.

The professional channel needed its own experience

Selling wholesale isn't just selling more of the same. The professional buyer wants something else: prices and terms that match their customer type, a reliable and always-updated catalog, and a fast reordering flow for orders that repeat. None of that is solved well by a store designed for the end consumer.

The context added difficulty. Wholesale tea selling in Argentina is a segment far behind on the digital and operational side: lots of ordering by phone, email, or spreadsheet, and little infrastructure connecting the real operation of the business to an online store. Professionalizing that channel with a real ecommerce, rather than an improvised web catalog, was precisely the hard part and the opportunity.

The ERP connected to Shopify, and SparkLayer for B2B

The work had two layers. On the surface, a complete redesign of the professional channel's home (profesional.inti-tea.com) to give it an identity fit for the B2B audience, distinct from the consumer store. Behind it, all the infrastructure that makes the business run.

We used Latech Bridge, our integration middleware, to connect the client's ERP to Shopify and keep product data synced end to end, with no manual uploads or catalogs that fall out of date. On that base we implemented SparkLayer as the B2B store engine, to take advantage of the features the platform offers specifically for wholesale operations. And through the same Latech Bridge we brought the wholesale price lists into SparkLayer, so each customer automatically sees the prices and terms that apply to them.

A wholesale store that matches the brand

The result is a solid professional store, with catalog and prices always updated from the ERP and a buying experience designed specifically for the wholesale segment. The professional channel stopped depending on manual processes and moved onto infrastructure that sustains real B2B selling: synced product, per-customer pricing, and a buying flow worthy of a reference brand.

Beyond the store itself, the case shows something that's hard to achieve in this market: professionalizing wholesale selling with a serious online operation, in a category where the analog still dominates. Inti Tea moved early, and today its professional channel is ready to scale.

Does your wholesale channel still run on spreadsheets and phone calls? Let's talk.
